Yes... re your last point, that's ...Thank you! Yes... re your last point, that's what I love so much about TWD dialogue. It's always so spare; they really understand the 'less is more' thing!

As for the time, on first watch I'm constantly stopping it and going back to listen to bits of dialogue again, so I always know what the time is, but yes, it's better that way! There are pictures of Eugene going off on a horse in a future week - ah, but hang on, Ezekiel is with him, so he's not going to die yet - I'd forgotten, I'd better revise that bit!!

That was the first thing that struck me, having watched so many shows like Vikings, etc; that the weaponry and strategy was just like something out of the 10th-14th century!Terry Tylerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15077413235902203848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7513470670765405287.post-70801678876586302612020-03-07T11:44:05.783-08:002020-03-07T11:44:05.783-08:00Terry, you have OUTDONE yourself with this week...Terry, you have OUTDONE yourself with this week's review! Your astute analysis of our beloved friends as they prepare to fight - as they've done in the past - like medieval knights with familiar warrior music, is incredible. I could picture myself as one of the barrier fighters, holding up my shield to protect my comrades. And yes, I knew they would survive the moment Eugene had a date! (I screamed that line before he did!) & interestingly wanted to know if you watched the previews at the end as I did. I purposely don't watch the time when viewing an episode so I don't know when the story is going to end. I'm glad we were able to see some of the battle. And Darryl and Caryl? I was ready for him to hug her after his statement - SO powerful that he just said it and walked away. Oh I'm ready for next week!!
