~ Fruits, Flowers and Family Likeness ~

Although it's still summer, autumn is not far away...

~ Family Likeness~

Me looking exactly like....

....my mum
(this taken in August 2018, when she was 92)...

...and here in the late 1960s....
(no, she wasn't a maid, she was in a play!!)

...also just like my brother Eddie (here with sister Julia)....

.... and my niece and goddaughter Freya (Eddie's daughter)...

...and my cousin Susan (here with Julia!)...

...and most other people on my mother's side of my family - we've all got that witch nose-chin thing going on!

Eddie and Freya when she was about ten (they used to call her Mini Terry!)

And finally:

You know when you've bought some trousers that you knew were a bit weird even in the shop, and now and again you think 'I suppose I'd better give them an outing', so you wear them somewhere it doesn't matter too much what you look like (I chose an appointment at Sunderland Eye Infirmary), and you keep them on for the whole day, after which you can put them back in the wardrobe for another year and think, well, at least I've worn them, which means they weren't a total waste of money...

    1. Thank you! I took a couple of random snaps yesterday morning, and when I looked at them I saw that one and thought, crikey, that's Mum! And then it went on from there :)
