The Park on the 28th: January - Mid-Winter #Trees

The park where I go for my walks, photos taken in roughly the same places on the 28th of each month, to observe the changes in the seasons: the trees, the flowers, the light in the sky.  Each month, it feels different.

At about 8.15 yesterday, I noticed that the light was amazing when the sun was just up, so today I got up early and made sure I caught it!  I've only got an average sort of camera, but the sun, the sky and the park itself did the rest of the work.

Took this one on the way to the park because I loved the colours against the sky

    1. Thank you, Bjorn - though I am sure where you live is much, much more beautiful (couldn't be much less so than where I live - the park is the best bit!!!)

  2. Love seeing first snow drops. But disappointed to see another dumped Christmas tree. They are all over where I live, so many lazy folks, when there are recycling options for them.

    1. Still, I suppose they will eventually biodegrade, or maybe take root!! The abandoned pumpkins after Hallowe'en were still there in December, mind!

  3. I've loved this series. Must do this walking around the garden- the only place I'm getting to at the moment. And it's looking pretty drab in the rain today. Still...

    2. Sun and a sprinkling of snow - mostly all we get here in Pembrokeshire - but pretty. Still, staying in to write.
