Rosie Amber's Beach Reads Tour

Back home and shaking the sand out of your shoes...

Book blogger Rosie Amber has just finished her great feature, the Beach Reads tour.  It lasted for a fortnight, June 1st - June 14th.  Each day a guest blogger gave their five suggested 'beach reads', along with the holiday destination of their choice.

The guest list is made up of book bloggers, writers, editors, proofreaders and general bookworms!  I particularly liked the Day 3 selection by writer and editor Alison Williams; it's HERE.
I also found book blogger Diane Coto's Day 6 selection most interesting; it's so very American and, for me, really highlighted some of the differences between the US and UK.  And we all want to read Shady Cross now! It's HERE

My proofreading sister, Julia, is HERE on Day 10, and .... here's ME on the last day, June 14th.  Links to all days and a list of the guests can be found on Rosie's blog HERE

    1. You are most welcome, Rosie! I don't do that reblogging thing because I think it can get a bit confusing (and I don't know how!!!), but I'll add my favourite days as it goes on, and keep posting! :)

  2. Hi Terry - I thought I'd comment on Rosie's blog about the Beach Books Tour .. but avidly read instead. I did enjoy the selections ... I've read Eleanor of Aquitaine, but need to read again as I've further knowledge now and more would slot into place in that convoluted period of history. Wuthering Heights too ... Hilary Mantel I have some of hers here - part of my summer read ... and Stephen King I have his book ..

I think these Beach Reads will be great referral posts to come back to ... I shall read your posts ... and take note - but quietly pass by during my summer break .. cheers Hilary

    1. Hi, Hilary - thanks for commenting! I so agree about the referrals to come back to. It's also just occurred to me that your name, minus the 'Butcher' is almost an anagram of Mantel. You're not really her, are you??!!
